I bought the introduction to photography by Karl Taylor and just finished watching. There so cons and pros. I believe that this guys cares more about taking photographs during sunset than anything else. The videographer isn’t quite as good as I thought it was going to be, The sound was a bit off. There is not need to buy these expensive dvd when you have Mark wallace and bryant peterson, I checked so many different dvds and sopcast but Adorama wins in every single aspect.

No. He most likely leaves them all on. Look up episode 17. Specifically a little after 4min in. He talks about blocking ambient light.

@ 06:32
when you placed the light behind the model, did you kill all of the other lights in the studio / work area?
What I am asking is: is the light behind the model the only light which is turned on?
Thanks
Scott

Mark likes to gesticulate very closely and intimately to his model sometimes they flinch a little from fear of being hit. Haha

I’ve been following your videos since Episode 1. Love your teaching, Mark! You are a great teacher, if not one of the best.

I hate when moles are removed. I can understand removing blemishes, but moles add character

This is what I tune into this channel for. Great concise video. Much better than vids about toys for iPad. Thank you Mark.
