Wrong. Czech republic is NOT the highest ranking former soviet state. It’s actually not even “former Soviet”. It’s post-communist state, or post-warszaw-pact, but it has never been part of Soviet Union. The same goes for Hungary, Poland, Romania etc. On the other hand, all three Baltic states indeed are former-Soviet and look at their ranks, it’s 6 for Estonia, 10 Lithuania, 13 Latvia, ahead of 24 Czech Republic … oops:-) Thumbs up for Baltics!!!

It depends how do you set up the poverty line and what you consider to be a “high crime rate”. A cleaning lady earns about 400 – 500 us dollars after paying taxes, the health insurance and the social security. I mean we are probably poor in the Australian terms but not in the the Global ones. And crime…? Hmm.. You can walk here at night without any worries about being robbed or something.. You should only watch out for pick-pockers, especially in Prague.

That sounds great but I hear the Republic is having trouble with poverty and crime?

What about BBC and VOA??????They do not have their own agenda? I believe Aljazeera is also a tool by western media when they see that their own media is not trusted any more in Muslim world bcs of it’s bias.

indeed.
As if having an agenda makes something not Journalism. Have you seen American international news? Its pure crap, such disgusting rubbish that Al-Jazeera seems like a breath of fresh air!

wow did someone notice this is the first time in a while that comments are allowed on Aljazeera’s youtube channel? I guess its a special event for the theme of the video? lol I kind of agree with the censorship they do though, lots of videos are flooded with horrible and insulting comments on very sensitive subjects, pure verbal diarrea from lots of people taking courage on anonimacy from internet. Personally I really like AlJazeera

well at least they have points and arguments that make sense and less opinions but government or corporate involvement in media always corrupts, they should always be run not-for-profit always.

It has its own agenda, it might not be clear for europeans or other non-Arab nations. But its pretty clear to us, and remember we have a longer experience with AlJazeera.

As you put it msabssa, it is no argument at all and not convincing !!! Please do give arguments when you make a remark. What do you mean by ‘in its own way’ ?
